Dr. Tomar has started his career from Division of Vegetable Science in 1985 with Dr. V S Seshadri and continued till 1996, later joined Agricultural Research Service in Seed Technology in 1996 and served as Incharge, Seed Production Unit and rose to the level of Principal Scientist, Seed Technology. Dr. Tomar has joined Head, Division of Vegetable Science, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi in 05/04/2016 and continued till date. Dr. B S Tomar is also working as Professor, Division of Vegetable Science as well as Joint Director (Extn.) Additional Charge since March 2021.
